Roger L. Simpson MD, MBA, FACS


Dr. Roger L. Simpson is President of the Long Island Plastic Surgical Group (LIPSG) where he has been a partner since 1981, and is certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is the director of LIPSG’s Center for Facial Paralysis, and serves as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Surgery at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. Dr. Simpson earned his MD from the University of Brussels, School of Medicine, and completed his residencies in General Surgery and Plastic Surgery at Nassau University Medical Center. Since 1989, he has served as the Director of the Residency Training Program in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Nassau University Medical Center. He is also the hospital’s Chief of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Director of the Burn Center. Dr. Simpson is an expert in reconstructive surgery and has published his research in medical textbooks and numerous academic journals.
